President of Egyptian Club Al-Ahly, Hacen Hamdi underlined Sunday that Al-Ahly Delegation has been warmly welcomed during their stay in Algeria as part of the 2nd day of African Champions League. "We have been received well by our Algerian brothers," Hamdi told a news conference. "The bus attack was an isolated case. Our delegation have a stay in Algeria without feeling any animosity from our Algerian brothers," he added. "The warm welcome we had in Algeria is a proof of the contrary of all what has been reported by some," he added while noting that he will lead the delegation which will welcome JS Kabylie at Cairo Airport next Wednesday.
He has so aptly called Al Ahly club supporters to welcome members of the JS Kabylie in Cairo as guests and brothers in their second home to reflect the good relations between the two peoples of Algeria and Egypt, which cannot be altered by a football match.
Hamdi has expressed a desire the game will be marked by fair play.
A high level committee consisting of officials from the National Sports Council (Department) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been assembled to greet the JSKabylie team in Cairo, media sources said Sunday.
This measure, decided at meetings of the Chairman, Hacen Sakr with officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, spoke along the lines of Egyptian Prime Minister Ahmed Nadhif.
