Customs administration is about to make reshuffling in the positions system by adding new grades in positions scale. In accordance with statute over professional career, human resources department is turning up professional careers of all customs officers said general manager Djazouli Boudjetia. Grades deal with lower position from control agent’s (lowest in the customs corpse)to general controller in chief (the highest position in the professional scale ). This shift is to enlarge the career plan of customs officers and better up grades scale he indicates. This statue, whose final text has so far been drafted after harsh negotiations with public administration, it is due to be implemented by the end of 2010, after submission , soon, before the government for final adoption. According to customs officer, this new statue came to put an end to a “professional stagnation “great number of customs officers are facing”. Henceforth, acting officers will be composed of three distinct categories the agents corpse( watchmen, controllers and brigadiers), the officers corpse (brigade team , control officers and general inspectors ) an high ranking customs officers .Thanks to career plan, all agent is offered possibility to make progress during his professional career through internal test or through special promotion said M. Djazouli.The new statue is to regulate a promotion dealing with the option that is to offer possibility to customs agent to benefit from promotion every ten years with regard to budgetary vacancy , even with no prior special promotion.
