Africa : Breastfeeding Badly Needed

Motherhood breastfeeding came into limelight in Dakar where World institutions the WHO and UNICEF met ahead of bettering nursing and have maximum children benefit through the world ““motherhood breastfeeding is an important duty so to promote health, survival and child development. It has multiple advantages for the health of the child, in a short and long term period “ said the document released on the occasion of the Global week  “ten steps: one condition after the other: on the road of friends babies “Estimating that life expectancy of 1.2million children might be spared each year in the world thanks to motherhood breastfeeding , report shows regret that “several children living in Western Africa and Central Africa have no chance in breastfeeding”“Although being mostly breast nurtured, one third only are put under breastfeeding an hour after baby delivery “  the report said . Now, specialists explain the fact that food diet which is poor in micro nutriments after six month of age, won’t suit with health care and elementary hygienic installations. Inquiries led in the African subcontinent came up with 40% children less than five year suffering chronicle malnutrition and more than 60% suffer anemia , while 90% are recording in other countries.” These children won’t reach apprenticeship and productivity potentiality  during their life” report added disclosing that in Chad 2% only are breast nurtured , 4% In Niger , and 7% In Burkina Faso. In addition, specialists in infant nutrition process have noticed that this situation is getting worst by the fact that most part of the time , these children are taken out from their mother after baby delivery operation.” The very first milk, or colostrums, is not given to babies because it is considered as toxic. I,e and example of local beliefs which is negative for the children health.
