The volume of production in the handicrafts industry increased from DZD 142 billion in 2010 to DZD 160 billion in 2011, Minister of Tourism and Handicraft Smail Mimoune said Tuesday in Algiers.
"The volume of production was up sharply from DZD 142 billion, to DZD 160 billion in 2011, an increase of 11%," said the minister during a meeting with executives of the sector devoted to the report of 2011activity.
