The film department of the event "Tlemcen, Capital of the Islamic Culture 2011" has developed a varied film program to "entertain, cultivate and inform the young of the cinematic techniques, Abdelkrim Oumeziane, the body's head, said in Tlemcen. The programme includes screening of a series of recently produced documentaries on history, culture, heritage and erudites of the town of Tlemcen and its outskirts, such as "Andalusian Tlemcen," by Cherif Aggoune, "mosques, zawiyas and mausoleums of Beni Snouss," by Hocine Nazef, "women scholars and moudjahidate (war veterans) of Tlemcen," by Noureddine Benomar Mezaher and "Sidi Boumediene," by Nora Kaci Abderrahmane Belaroussi, the film department's head told reporters.
