The Golden Colt of the 22nd Panafrican Film and Television Festival of Ouagadougou (Fespaco) was awarded Saturday night at the Algerian short film, "Garagouz" directed by Abdennour Zahzah. The results were announced at the closing ceremony of the 22nd edition of Fespaco held from February 26 to March 5 in the Burkinabe capital, under the theme "African cinema and markets." The silver colt was awarded to Tunisian Meriem Riveill for her short film "Taboo" which tells the story of a rape, while the bronze colt returned to the Malian Daouda Koulibaly for his film "Tinye so" . Special mention was also awarded the short film "The metaphor of cassava" by Cameroonian Lionel Meta, for the quality of his work
