The kick for the start of the 32th Timgad festival has been given yesterday amid a joyful atmosphere marking the event. The beginning of this festival has recorded a very large audience on brand new stage of the newly built open air theater. Music and local songs were at large predominating this first day character by numerous performances going from countryside music to Andalusia made melodies . The cultural minister Mrs. Khalida Toumi has adressed participants on the occasion of this new cultural Show taking place for the first time in newly built arena. The city of Timgad has taken the bet to make out of this festival a gorgeous manifestation. This cultural takes place for the first time outside the Ancient Roman site were previous manifestations took place. Due to fact that the city has now a new open air theatre,, near by ancient roman facilities Timgad has turned toward modern site for making the festival up to date with expectations of visitors. So far, the main city of Batna is welcoming first wave of artistes, who come this year for the show . the entertainment committee officer Lakhdar Benturki is in good mood to herald something special during this festival. This edition is likely to meet success given human and material means engaged. The new theater with a capacity 5.000 seats marks a new turn in terms of cultural entrainment. Music lovers along with folksongs performing bands from Arab African and European countries are due to give new boost to this tremendous event .
