The Fatah movement organized an intellectual and artistic event Thursday in Algiers on the 46th anniversary of the Palestinian revolution outbreak. "The commemoration today of the Palestinian revolution outbreak in Algeria, whose people conducted a relentless fight for the recovery of its independence will lead us, we, Palestinians to follow the same path to victory," Ambassador of Palestine in Algeria Hussein Abdelkhalek said. The Fatah movement "launched an armed struggle to end the occupation," the ambassador added, noting the achievements of this movement in international politics. He said that regional and international situation have led us to political negotiations without sacrificing the legitimate rights of resistance recalling that those negotiations led to provisional agreements that should have led in 2000 to the setting up of Palestinian state on 1967 borders, on the basis of the declaration of independence in Algiers in 1988 and the resolutions of international legality
