Algeria is to organize a meeting to foreign ministers of Libya's neighbors, on Thursday 23 January 2020 in Algiers with the participation of Tunisia, Egypt, Sudan, Chad and Niger.

The meeting is also attended by the Malian Foreign Minister, given the repercussions of the Libyan crisis on the neighboring country.

This meeting is part of Algeria's efforts to strengthen coordination and consultation between Libyan neighbors and international actors in order to accompany Libyans to push the path of a political settlement of the crisis through comprehensive dialogue between the various Libyan parties to enable this brotherly and neighboring country to overcome the difficult circumstances he is experiencing and to build a state of institutions of security and stability.

On this occasion, the recent developments in Libya will be reviewed in the light of the balance of efforts that Algeria is making towards the Libyan components and international actors, and the results of other international efforts in this context, to enable our brothers in Libya to take control of the path of a settlement of the crisis in their country away from any foreign interference of any kind and whatever its nature.
