Hearing session of the National Solidarity and family ministry : Solidarity In Front Line

The ministry of National solidarity and family was, under scrutiny of an evaluation meeting presided over   by the president of the republic M. Abdelaziz  Bouteflika. During this restricted meeting, The Minister of the national solidarity and family has developed the main points of his ministry’s policy with regard to the presidential program ,and activities of the past year 2009 as well as prospects of achievements foreseen in the five-year program. 2010-2014. In this regard, the sector has engaged a vast program aiming at reinforcing the existing provisions notably those dealing with urgent aid for needy and their social insertion. The present provisions are to witness a revision and an adaptation according to exigencies of social and economic development. In addition to those dedicated to the social and professional insertion .In addition, a new inclusive approach is underway in direction of disabled. This approach rotates around new mechanisms of professional insertion through the setting of  work  structures . Activities assessment of this sector   for the year 2009 have been treated as follow – The solidarity allowance has tripled since 2009

• Social aid to disabled has been revised by 30% - Free transportation for disabled , which has been reinforced by the signing of 8 conventions with new public transportations conventions , making a total of 19 documents signed with transport partners  (land transport, railways, and air transports for the year 2009.- The identification of no well fare covered needy, has released the number of 160.000 persons. A follow up committee for the implementation of the contractual relation for health care has been set in May 2009.

At the end of the meeting, the president of the republic has recalled that “ the solidarity is an unshakable line on which lies the social equity “ indicating that “the family benefits from the State and the society cares”. On the other hand, the Head of state has underlined that “fundamental obligations of solidarity by national collectivities have more often meet answer in the action programs engaged by the state in direction of most vulnerable social categories. The volunteer policy addressed to these social categories has resulted to social transfer pack of an exceptional volume which have allowed Algeria to meet important objectives of development of the UN  set millenary program” “ Affirmed the Head of State
