On the occasion of the Independence of India, the president of the republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika has conveyed a message to his Indian counterpart Mrs Pratibha Devisingh Patil expressing her sincere congratulations: “ At the time when the Republic of India celebrates the 63rd
anniversary of her independence, I’m very pleased to present my sincere congratulations, on behalf of the Algerian people, the government and on my personal name” said the Head of State in his message. “It is also a great pleasure to notice with satisfaction, the good relations and cooperation that links our two countries since a long time, I reiterate all the interest I pay to their development . “ While conveying my wishes of health, and well being to your person, progress and prosperity for the Indian people, Will you please agree madam president, the expression of my high consideration he added.
