Canada expressed Tuesday in Algiers its desire to "deepen" cooperation with Algeria and the Sahel countries in counterterrorism. "We hope to deepen our cooperation with Algeria and other Sahel countries to identify gaps, develop solutions and mobilize resources for capacity building to fight against terrorism," said Canada’s Ambassador to Algiers Geneviève des Rivières.
