The kickoff of the 3rd international music festival named “Diwan” has been given Tuesday in Algiers A large audience has attended this so rich show. This musical exhibition is to go on up to July 20 with tremendous performances at the open air theater of Ryadh El Feth. Several music band take part in this festival notably the three laureates of the recent national festival “Diwane” of Bechar (Mai 2010)As well as other groups coming from Mali Burkina Faso, India and Senegal. “ Algerian groups have been invited so they may get along with professional artists during this show” said Briki the festival manager, underlining that this 3rd edition is to match between authenticity and creativity youth in a melting pot of traditional instrument (Moderns and originals). In addition to musical show, the program includes master-class, conference-debate expositions photos and film projections related to “Diwane” music
