Spain welcomes resumption of negotiations between Morocco and Polisario Front
Spain has welcomed the willingness expressed by Morocco and the Polisario Front to resume negotiations, under the aegis of the United Nations, on 10 and 11 February near New-York, considering that these informal talks would open ways to "proper negotiations."
"The UN-sponsored negotiations, as stipulated in the UN Security Council resolution 1871, should be based on the willingness of the involved parties and on the UN principles and objectives," said Spain's Foreign Ministry in a statement.
