Algeria large-scale projects executed in transparency
The execution of the major projects in Algeria is made in compliance with international rules in terms of transparency and environment protection, said Tuesday an official of World Bank (WB), on the sidelines of major projects’ financing.
"In terms of execution and exploitation of major projects, the World Bank notices that in Algeria, the major projects were subject to international transparent invitation to tender which is also open to all the operators," Louis Bedoucha, Senior Business Development Officer, Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA) at the World Bank.
"We wish that Algeria continues to comply with these rules in the application of these future large-scale projects," Bedoucha added, while talking on the 2nd day of a seminar organized by Association of International Finance Forum (IFF) on Project-finance.
