The bloody events that the cross-border village of Sakiet Sidi Youcef was the scene, 52 ago, is "a strong reference to build a joint future and consolidate the relations between Algeria and Tunisia," pointed out Monday in Sakiet Sidi Youcef, Minister of Moudjahidine, Mohamed-Cherif Abbas.
Accompanied with Tunisian Minister of Interior and Local Development Rafik Belhaj Kacem, during the commemoration, in Sakiet Sidi Youcef, of the 52nd anniversary of French army bombardment of this region, Abbas added that 8 February 1958 must represent a "halt to renew loyalty to a pact sealed with Martyrs blood."
