"Specific corridors" for producing SMEs
Domestic banks have set up "specific corridors" to familiarize producing small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with the documentary credit, Abderahmane Benkhalfa, Delegate General of the Association of Banks and Financial Institutions (ABEF), said Sunday in Algiers.
The "specific corridor" is a set of organizational measures regarded as a provision from the banking community on strong recommendation of the authorities to facilitate the import of raw materials , components and semi-finished products by producing SME required for their production, he explained at a French-Algerian meeting on SMEs.
