Western Sahara: Algeria's steady position reaffirmed
President of the National Algerian Committee of Solidarity with the Sahrawi People (CNASPS) Mahrez Lamari reaffirmed Thursday in Algiers, the "steady and unwavering position of Algeria concerning the Sahrawi cause," while calling UN security council to "put an end to the Moroccan aggression" in the Sahrawi occupied territories.
During a meeting that brought together representatives of Algerian student and youth movement as well as their counterparts from SADR national union of youth and scouts, Lamari talked about the " deterioration of the situation in Western Sahara occupied territories and suppression policy pursued by the Moroccan authorities against the Sahrawi people’s peaceful resistance."
