No crisis in Algerian–French relations, says ouyahia
National Democratic Rally's Secretary-General Ahmed Ouyahia stressed Wednesday here that "there is no crisis in Algerian-French relations."
At a news conference held at the end of the Presidential Alliance's works, Ouyahia said ties between Algeria and France "are normal" and based on trade, people movement and neighbourly terms.
"We cannot speak of a qualitative leap in the Algerian-French relations" even if both sides "aim to raise them to specialties, with the absence of certain conditions," said Ouyahia after he underlined that 800,000 Algerians residing in France are registered at Algeria's consulates.
